Gdansk - Malbork Castle - Torun - Warszawa - Zamosc - Krakow - Czestochowa - Wroclaw.
This is the grand tour, taking in the highlights of this historic and beautiful country. Poland is famed for its stunning cities and wonderful countryside.
In this tour you will be driven by private transfer between some of the most lovely places in Europe, you will have your driver/guide all to yourself meaning you get the very best from your holiday. You can stop and stretch your legs, when you wish, and stop at restaurants and places along the way to really get off the tourist track and experience the real Poland.
Included in the tour is a sightseeing tour in each city and stops at many places of interest along the way.
Flights are not included in the price - as flight prices change so frequently we try and get you the best deal possible at the point of booking.
DAY ONE
Arrive at Gdansk, you will be met at Gdansk Airport by your private transfer and taken to your hotel a 3* centrally located hotel in Gdansk for a 3 night stay.

DAY TWO
10am: You will be met in reception at your hotel for a private morning walking tour of the old town (4 hours). This is a great way to get to know the city and find your bearings.
PM: Explore Gdansk at your leisure.
Lying on the southern coast of the Gdansk Bay of the Baltic sea, Gdansk is a beautiful city, and Poland's principal seaport. There are many sights for the visitor to enjoy. The Old Town is home to the start of the Royal Way, at Upland Gate the Polish King was welcomed and given the keys to the city. These 16th century gates were originally surrounded by a moat.
Tourists often walk the Royal Way taking in such sights as Neptune Fountain, the focal point of the Long Market (Dlugi Targ).

DAY THREE
10am: Half day trip to ‘Hel’ Peninsula. You will take a ferry from Gdansk to this beautiful peninsula. Formed over the centuries by the combined action of wind and current, today you can relax and explore 19th century wooden fisherman’s cottages, small local pubs that sell delicious local beers, and smoked fish. This trip is the perfect contrast to a city.

DAY FOUR
11am: Check out of hotel and meet with your private transfer to Malbork Castle. Enjoy a guided tour of the castle.
Malbork Castle is a wonderful castle that was more or less under continuous construction for 230 years! The castle is actually three castles nestled into one and is the worlds largest brick castle. During World war two, fifty percent of the castle was destroyed and renovation carries onto the present day.
Travel on to Torun by private transfer, where you will check into your centrally located 3* hotel for 1 night.

DAY FIVE
11am: Check out of your hotel and meet your guide for a private sightseeing tour of Torun.
Torun a lovely city, located on both banks of the Vistula River, on the intersection of ancient trading routes. The city was founded in Medieval times and, after Krakow, has the largest number of Gothic buildings and works of art.
In 1997 Torun was added to the UNESCO list of protected cities so important is its historical heritage. Torun was the birth place of one of the most important scientists in history, Nicolaus Copernicus!
PM: Private transfer to Warsaw to check into your centrally located 4* hotel for a three night stay.

DAY SIX
10am: You will be met in reception at your hotel for a private morning walking tour of the old town and Royal Castle (4 - 5 hours). This is a great way to get to know the city and find your bearings.
PM: Explore Warsaw at your leisure.
Warsaw is the present day capital of Poland and home to 1.7 million people. Since Poland joined the EU in 2004 Warsaw has been booming and has become one of the fastest growing capitals in Europe. Lovingly renovated since World War II Warsaw once again has a very beautiful old town.

DAY SEVEN
11am: Meet with your guide and driver for a day trip to Wilanow Palace & Gardens,
This stunning Palace was left untouched during World War II - so the Palace is almost exactly as it was. The Palace is one of Poland’s National treasures and is a very beautiful place to visit.
After a break for lunch you will continue on to then on to Nieborow - Radziwill's baroque residence.
This palace was originally built for the Cardinal Archbishop of Lowicz, and also belonged to various families including the Radziwills. There is a wonderful park to enjoy.

DAY EIGHT
12 noon: Check out from your hotel and meet your private transfer to Zamosc, check into your centrally located 3* hotel for your one night stay.
Zamosc is known as the Pearl of the Renaissance. This is a very special place and was included on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1992. There are over one hundred monuments of architectural and artistic importance to enjoy. Designed in the 16th century Zamosc remains virtually unchanged today.

DAY NINE
12 noon: Check out of your hotel for your private transfer to Krakow. Check into your centrally located 4* hotel for your 4 night stay.

DAY TEN
10am: You will be met in reception at your hotel for a private morning walking tour of the old town, Wawel Castle and the Jewish District (4 hours). This is a great way to get to know the city and find your bearings.
PM: Explore Krakow at your Leisure

DAY ELEVEN
10am: meet our guide for a half day trip to either The Salt Mine or Auschwitz
Wieliczka Salt Mine is an enjoyable and unique trip. Visit an underground world, underwater lakes, hand-curved figures and charming chapels.
Auschwitz - Birkenau Museum "Lest we never forget" around 50km from Krakow stands this chilling place. The basic structures of the concentration camps are still intact, and many travel to Auschwitz in honour of those that lost their lives here.

DAY THIRTEEN
11am: Check out of your hotel, meet your guide for your private transfer to Czestochowa to visit Jasna Gora Monastery.
Czestochowa is home to the Jasna Gora Monastery, where every year millions of pilgrims visit the most important icon of the Virgin Mary in this part of Europe. The icon, depicting the Mother of God with the Christ Child, is known as The Black Madonna of Czestochowa or Our Lady of Czestochowa, which is credited with having performed many miracles. This is a very interesting visit.
Then you will carry with your guide to Wroclaw, where you will check in your 4* centrally located hotel for a 2 night stay.

DAY FOURTEEN
10.30am: You will be met in reception at your hotel for a private morning walking tour of the old town, and a river cruise along Odra River.
PM: Explore Wroclaw at your leisure.
Wroclaw is the fourth largest city in Poland, and still relatively undiscovered by the British tourist. Here you can find a multinational influences, with its wonderful huge Germanic churches, Flemish –style Renaissance mansions, palaces or chapels of Viennese Baroque, it is all there for you to see. This city is situated on the beautiful river banks of the Odra, so is very relaxing and picturesque.

DAY FIFTEEN
Check out of your hotel, for your private transfer to Wroclaw airport for your flight home.
