8 Nights / 9 Days

4* Accommodation / Tailor Made Tour / Private Transfers

Warsaw - Krakow- Zakopane / Tatra Mountains

The Polish Line Tour is so called as you follow a line south from Warsaw to Krakow and then on to Zakopane near the Slovakian border.

In this tour you visit the two most important cities in Poland, the first being Warsaw, its vibrant and booming capital, rebuilt and reborn after World War Two, with its old town lovingly restored. Then Krakow, the cultural heart of Poland and for many years its Royal capital. Krakow is a stunning city with a history spanning over one thousand years.

Then onwards south to Zakopane. Nestled in the mountains this is a friendly little town, and with the incredible Tatra Mountains on its doorstep, it is a very beautiful place to stay.

Flights are not included in the price - as flight prices change so frequently we try and get you the best deal possible at the point of booking.

DAY ONE
Arrive at Warsaw airport to be met by your private transfer who will take you to your centrally located 4* hotel in Warsaw.

Over night: 4* Hotel in Warsaw

DAY TWO
AM: You will be met in reception for a private four hour walking tour of Warsaw Old Town and the Royal Castle..

Warsaw is the present day capital of Poland and home to 1.7 million people. After its destruction during World War Two, Warsaw's Old Town has been painstakingly and lovingly restored.

PM: Explore Warsaw at your leisure.

Over night: 4* Hotel in Warsaw

DAY THREE
11am: Meet our guide at your hotel reception and enjoy a wonderful day trip to Wilanow Palace and Gardens.

This stunning Palace was left untouched during World War II - so the Palace is almost exactly as it was. The Palace is one of Poland’s National treasures and is a very beautiful place to visit.

After a break for lunch you will continue on to Nieborow - Radziwills Baroque Residence.

This palace was originally built for the Cardinal Archbishop of Lowicz, and also belonged to various families including the Radziwills. There is a wonderful park to enjoy.

Over night: 4* Hotel in Warsaw

DAY FOUR
AM: Check out of your hotel to meet your driver/guide for your private transfer to Krakow, then check into your 4* hotel for a three night stay.

Over night: 4* Hotel in Krakow

DAY FIVE
AM: You will be met in reception at your hotel for a private four hour walking tour of Krakow Old Town, and Wawel Castle.

Krakow is a beautiful city. For centuries it was the royal capital of Poland. This high status drew artists, musicians, writers and philosophers from all over the world to come and live in the city. The result was a city rich in culture and, for us, a legacy of wonderful architecture and places of interest.

You will see some wonderful sights including Wawel Castle, the Old Town, the Jewish District - Kazimierz.

PM: Explore Krakow at your Leisure

Over night: 4* Hotel in Krakow

DAY SIX
Enjoy Krakow at your leisure.

Over night: 4* Hotel in Krakow

DAY SEVEN
Check out of your hotel and meet your guide for a half day trip to either The Salt Mine or Auschwitz.

Wieliczka Salt Mine is an underground world with underwater lakes, handcarved figures and charming chapels.

Auschwitz - Birkenau Museum is around 50 kilometres from Krakow. The basic structures of the concentration camps are still intact, and many travel to Auschwitz in honour of those who lost their lives here.

After your visit continue on to Zakopane. Check into your 4* hotel for a two night stay.

Nestled into a valley in the mountains, Zakopane is a lovely mountain town, with the spectacular Tatra Mountains on its doorstep - it's a beautiful place to stay.

Over night: 4* Hotel in Zakopane

DAY EIGHT
AM: Meet our guide for a walking tour of Zakopane and a cable car trip to Kasprowy Wierch (1,957 metres above sea level) and experience the incredible panoramic views of the Tatra Mountain Peaks and the Tatra National Park. The Tatra Mountains are the highest range of the Carpathian Mountains that run along the Polish and Slovakian border.

PM: Enjoy and explore Zakopane at your leisure.

Over night: 4* Hotel in Zakopane

DAY NINE
AM: Check out of your hotel for your private transfer to Krakow Airport for the flight home.

We had a lovely time in Poland... we saw some really lovely places... Our guides were charming and couldn’t have been more helpful – they always helped us with our cases too, which was a real bonus for us, as my husband has walking difficulties. Of course their English was always very good too.Thank you for organising a very different holiday. I would love to return to Zamosc one day.
